| I've been invited to teach a class of pre-kindergarteners how to make sushi next week!
I took the fixings for california rolls and korean kim bap to my friend's house last weekend. Her four-year old son tried it, enjoyed it, and told his teacher about it. His teacher thought it would be fun for the kids to try making it in class. You know, it's good for cross-cultural awareness and fine motor skills development. (Wow! Pre-K has come a long way since I was in school!) So my friend enlisted me to help and I'm really looking forward to it!
If you have any suggestions on what kids might like, I'd love to hear them. This should be a lot of fun, but it could easily turn out to be a fiasco! I've had this small secret dream of hosting a cooking show (thanks to flossee and too much Food Network), so this may turn out to be my unofficial debut!  | | |
